Practices, Performances & More
Our rehearsals are split into two fourth month periods: September through December culminating in our annual Weihnachts Konzert (Christmas Concert) and February through May culminating in our annual Fruhlings Konzert (Spring Concert).
We participate with other German choirs in and annual Kommerz sponsered by the Michigan Saengersbezirk and German-American Day Sponsored by the German-American Cultural Center.
In addition, we participate every three years in the National Singers Festival Sponsored by the Nord-Amerikanischer Sängerbund (North American Singers Association.)
We also host a variety of social activities throughout the year including an annual picnic in August, SauerKraut Making Day in October and our annual Sauerkraut Dinner in February.
Music Literacy Classes
Dr. Marc Heeg, the Columbus Männerchor music director has organized weekly Music Literacy Classes so NASB singers can attain a better understanding of music literacy.
